Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Applyseed. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Applyseed helps founders prepare applications to startup accelerators and similar programs. You build a startup profile; we draft answers to each program's questions from it. We also publish a directory of programs, guides and a blog.

We don't submit applications for you. You review every answer and submit it yourself, on the program's own form.

We can't guarantee results. Acceptance decisions are made by each program. Using Applyseed doesn't guarantee an interview, an offer or funding.

Program information

Program details — terms, deadlines, questions, acceptance rates — come from public sources and change often. Some figures are estimates. Always confirm details on the program's official site before applying. We're not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the programs we list unless we say so.

Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 to use Applyseed.

Your content

You own the content you put into Applyseed — your profile, files and answers — and the drafts we generate for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you, including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers as described in our privacy policy.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload anything confidential that belongs to someone else.

AI-drafted answers

Drafts are generated by AI from your material. They can contain mistakes or miss context. You're responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying everything before you submit it, and for the accuracy of what you send to any program.

Plans and payment

• Free: your first applications are free, up to the limit shown on our pricing page.
• Pro: a monthly subscription with a set number of applications per billing period, at the price shown when you subscribe.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or disrupt the service;
• scrape the service at scale or resell it without our permission;
• use Applyseed to submit false or misleading applications.

Ending your use

You can stop using Applyseed and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost funding opportunities. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you by email. Continuing to use Applyseed after a change means you accept the new terms.
